New Disability-Based Documentary Now on Netflix!

09.22.2020

There is a new disability-based documentary on Netflix about the Paralympics called “Rising Phoenix”. The Paralympics is Olympic Games for people with disabilities. Since 1960, it has been held in the same city and the same year one month after the Olympics

I encourage everyone to watch it because these are inspirational athletes giving their all every four years like their counterparts. I like the fact that the Rio de Janeiro Paralympics had more fans in the stands than the Olympics itself just one month before.

The next Paralympics is scheduled for 2021 in Tokyo.
